The joy of dog walking.

Up until we got Lola in June we'd only ever had the one dog. It had never occurred to use to get another one until Spike started getting old and we decided to get a second dog so that when we eventually lose him our children don't think he can just be 'replaced'.

Having two dogs has been lovely but even better than that has been having 3/4/5 dogs. One of the best things about being a dog walker and boarder is the experience of looking after so many different breeds of dog.

Over the last few months we have had the pleasure of meeting a range of different dogs. Some of them are breeds we have met before but some of them are new to us. We have had a great time over Christmas looking after a range of dogs and they are all lovely though completely different.

Raven is the sweetest, most beautiful dog you could ever come across. In fact, when she goes home on Monday, we are going to really miss her and hope she will come back to see us soon! Dexter is a playful puppy who comes for day-care. It has been great fun watching his personality grow and he is now much more confident around the other dogs, in fact he even tries to boss them about. Tilly makes us laugh. If you get off the sofa you can be sure that by the time you get back (3 seconds later) she will be in your spot. She seems to have enjoyed her time with us and when Lola annoys Raven she will stand up to Lola and tell her off!

I walk lots of lovely dogs and have a few more starting in the new year which I'm really looking forward to. Of all the things I love about dog walking (and there are many) meeting all the dogs has to be the best- although I guess that's a good thing, right?!
